A true day of rest, so necessary to body and soul
Time spent in fellowship and worship
A simple meal taken in leisure at home
Pleasant reading, quiet music, simple knitting
Call out to step away from the rush and bustle,
trying to catch up on all the tasks left undone,
and just rest and be in the moment
This moment, full of joy and contentment
Three cats and a new pillow are waiting
For me to join them
