I have several of her pieces in my home. They mean so much to me...

She tried to pass this same love on to me and it worked for a while. Then I became a teenager. She started me out on cross stitching...I wish I could find those pieces!

I think I am too blind (over 40) to try to pick it back up...sad. It is a beautiful art. :)Danahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07257660639811126906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33682612.post-55195927113141797922008-10-05T14:38:00.000-07:002008-10-05T14:38:00.000-07:00What a neat book! Or more of a journal or somehting you put in a frame?
I LOVE cross stitch. It is sew easy! Haven't done it in a while, though... other crafty things catch my interest!
Getting excited about your KY trip? The weather is pleasant right now... but there's no telling what a few weeks will do?!
Tammy :):):)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33682612.post-61975619542330429242008-10-04T21:14:00.000-07:002008-10-04T21:14:00.000-07:00Meg, I love your page! It's pretty clever the way you've made the bee dimensional. I'm amazed at how real your scissors look. I love the journaling too. It's all so wonderful and inspiring. I was thinking this is a wonderful way to record all the handwork that one makes and gives away. You could make copies, of everything and "keep" them this way. It's just perfect!

I've never seen scissors like those before. Those are pretty neat!Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16147259175811183482noreply@blogger.com
